    Clinical Lead

    At Vascular Solutions, The Leg Vein Experts, our Board-Certified leg vein specialists are dedicated to solving leg vein problems through accurate diagnosis, advanced medical treatments, and expert care. We provide exceptional vascular care to our patients and are committed to improving their quality of life.


    We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Clinical Lead to serve as our "board-runner" - the vital role that ensures the seamless flow of our patient surgeries, appointments, and daily clinical operations.


    Your Impact as Clinical Lead:


    • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee daily clinical schedules, ensuring surgeries and appointments run efficiently
    • Proactively identify and resolve potential scheduling conflicts before they affect patient care
    • Optimize patient flow to minimize wait times and maximize provider productivity
    • Serve as the central coordinator for all clinical scheduling activities

    Team Leadership


    • Supervise and mentor Medical Office Assistants (MOAs), providing guidance and performance feedback
    • Manage MOAs schedules to ensure consistent coverage
    • Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage when team members call out, leave early, or take vacation
    • Ability to fill in for MOA positions when needed to maintain seamless operations
    • Foster our collaborative team environment where all members thrive
    • Delegate tasks effectively while ensuring accountability
    • Serve as a trusted resource for providers, PAs, and technicians

    Resource Management


    • Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies and equipment
    • Implement effective inventory control procedures
    • Ensure timely ordering to avoid shortages that could impact patient care

    Patient Experience Enhancement


    • Promote a positive and efficient patient experience
    • Address patient concerns promptly and effectively
    • Interact knowledgeably with patients to answer questions and provide information, reducing the need for Provider intervention on non-clinical matters
    • Implement strategies to improve patient flow and minimize wait times

    Productivity Optimization


    • Develop strategies to maximize clinical workflow efficiency
    • Monitor key performance indicators related to scheduling and patient flow
    • Identify and implement process improvements
    • Ensure appointments and staff stay on schedule

    Documentation Excellence


    • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and practice policies
    • Ensure accurate and timely Patient records and documentation

    Your Qualifications:


    • Proven experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably in a surgical or procedural setting
    • Strong understanding of clinical operations and patient flow management
    • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
    • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
    • Experience with inventory control systems
    • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Certification in medical assisting or related field
    • Experience with vein care

    Position Details:


    • Full-time position
    • Is enthusiastic and interested in working full-time (up to 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, for most weeks of the year)
    • Schedule aligns with Clinical team and patient appointments to ensure presence during all operational hours
    • Anticipated shifts may run from as early as 8 am to as late as 6:00 pm (as clinical activity necessitates)
    • May require flexibility to accommodate clinical schedules

    Medical Office Assistant - Part-Time

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join us as a Medical Office Assistant. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by ensuring efficient clinic operations and confidently caring for our patients with leg vein expertise.



    Responsibilities:


    • Manage the practice's daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and a seamless patient experience.
    • Coordinate patient appointments, maintaining optimal coverage and minimizing disruptions in practice operations.
    • Room Patients promptly and accurately record vitals and medical information in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
    • Prepare examination rooms, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies for healthcare providers.
    • Assist with medical procedures and treatments, supporting healthcare providers as required.
    • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, including stocking supplies, sterilizing instruments, and managing proper medical waste disposal.
    • Exercise sound judgment in handling challenging patient situations, promptly escalating concerns to the supervisor.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care activities.
    • Contribute to the training and orientation of new medical office assistants, sharing leg vein knowledge and expertise.
    • Embrace a learning mindset and actively seek opportunities for growth and professional development.

    Qualifications:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in office routines and patient care processes.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enabling effective communication with our patient community.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and the healthcare team.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
